Signal Booster Registration

Register your consumer signal booster

Consumer Signal Boosters are designed to be used “out of the box” by individuals to improve their wireless coverage within a limited area, such as a home, car, boat, or recreational vehicle.

The FCC has adopted rules to improve signal booster design, so they should not usually cause interference to wireless networks.

The FCC has also adopted rules about what cell phone users need to do before using a signal booster. Learn about these requirements in the Signal Boosters FAQ.

Appalachian Wireless consent to operate a signal booster on the Appalachian Wireless network is limited to the use of signal boosters certified by the FCC under 47 CFR 20.21(a).
