Is it Nationwide?

Yes! Through our agreements with our roaming partners, you will have the absolute best 4G coverage available anywhere. From Hazard, Kentucky to Charleston, South Carolina, and all the way to San Francisco, California, we've got you covered all across the United States at no additional cost.

What happens if I go to an area without 4G?

Your phone will seamlessly transition to 3G in an area where 4G is currently unavailable.

Will my existing phone work?

We now offer many 4G LTE phones. Be sure to ask customer service or our sales people if you are not sure if your device is 4G LTE capable!

What speeds can I expect?

4G LTE is revolutionary speed right in your hand. Expect speeds on average of around 5-12mbps.

Will it raise my bill?

No. Your rates will stay the same as current 3G rates.

How do SIM cards work?

SIM cards are small chips that contain your phone number and other information necessary to talk with our towers and obtain service.

Can I bring a 4G phone from another carrier?

No. In order to utilize our service, you must purchase a phone programmed for Appalachian Wireless 4G. Simply put, smartphones have data settings that are locked by the carrier and cannot be changed to work with our service. We have a large variety of the latest and greatest smartphones available. Check out your local Appalachian Wireless retail location to check them out!

Is it available in my area?

We have already deployed 4G LTE to several of our service areas.
